Setting priorities and engaging diverse communities for research investment is a driver of economic development in municipalities and states throughout the country, and a linchpin of strategic plans for the university community nationwide.

CONCUR has engaged in a diverse projects with DOE, with universities in four states, and with national consortia of NGOs to develop priorities, research proposals, or strategic plans to support research investment.   The thematic focus has ranged from accelerating LED investment, to targeting NSF investment in the STEM (science, technology, engineering and math), to focusing collaborative investments in water resources.
